At-Home Art Activities:

Mo Williams, author of the popular Elephant and Piggie books has ‘Lunch Doodles’ on The Kennedy Center website.  This is a series of drawing tutorials where students draw along with Mo and learn how to draw the characters from his books.  https://www.youtube.com/user/TheKennedyCenter/videos

Artbarblog.com is a great resource.  Most of her projects offer interdisciplinary connections as well as a play activity that goes with the art project.  In addition to her weekly guide, her website offers lots of art project ideas that are geared towards homeschooling parents.  https://www.artbarblog.com/blog/

Patty Palmer, an art teacher in California has a variety of free art projects on her website:  https://www.deepspacesparkle.com/category/art-lessons/  In addition, you can find an archive of past art tutorial videos on her page.  Follow her on facebook or instagram (deepspacesparkle) to check out past videos and keep an eye for the next time she will be going live.

Art Hub For Kids is a great online resource to help kids practice drawing.  On this youtube channel, students follow along as a father and his kids draw a large variety of items. I would suggest having kids be ready to pause the video if they need more time.  I would also suggest checking out the difficulty of the tutorial first as they vary greatly in how challenging they are. Lastly, the father in the video always draws with a sharpie, I would suggest encouraging students to draw first with a pencil to make erasing any mistakes easier.  https://www.youtube.com/user/ArtforKidsHub
